That app detected the correct printer and showed it as READY, but as before, I still get a printing error.
I also went into HPSmart and tried printing a PDF. There's nothing wrong with my modem or router, and the printer is about 6 inches from the router.
I tried rebooting the printer, but that didn't help, nor did redoing the Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer at my primary address is the current default printer in Windows, so that's not the issue. It's as if the Doctor is mixing up the two printers. When I clicked on the printer name for my primary address, I got an error message saying it couldn't connect. I opened the Print/Scan Doctor and when the screen appeared showing me the printers I have, it listed the IP address for the printer at my primary address under the printer name for the one at my 2nd home. The printer at my primary address has been working until today when multiple attempts to print from Excel resulted in errors and the document stuck in the queue. The printer at the latter location is currently offline as I'm not there for a long period. I have two HP ENVY 5000 printers, one at my primary address and one at my 2nd home.
